Hi Sonia,

Thanks for your question. I'm Rob, one of the tutors at Better English.

Perosonally I haven't taught in China. I spent a year in Vietnam and a futher 2 years in Turkey early on in my career. I can tell you that teaching overseas was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. Not only for the professional developement you gain, but the friends you make and the way that living emersed in another culture can really open your eyes to what's happening in the world - I'm a better person for it and would definitely recommend it!

Teaching in China is a new addition to the services at Better English. Primarily we act as a service for students in Australia and oversas students seeking help that we can deliver in essay correction and online tuition. However, we do have a few reputable contacts looking for staff in China.

The best thing to do is to send your enquiry via the Teach in China link and we can provide you with more information.

Be smart about where you are willing to go and research carefully what you are offered, but all in all, teaching English overseas is a wonderful, fulfilling experience!
